chicken Wellington-style boots! Aren't they just the cutest things? I can now be hip and stylish when outside doing farm chores or playing in the rain!
These boots, normally priced at $49.99, are currently on sale at Gardener's Supply for half price! That's right, for just $24.99 you too can have a pair of these so-cool boots. Or, if you are not the chicken type, they also have a tomato pattern available.
The reason for the great sale on these boots is because they are considered factory seconds. Apparently, they have cosmetic blemishes and pattern irregularities, so they didn't make the quality control cut. Neither Olivia nor I could find any obvious defects on my pair, however.
And when I showed them to the real quality control experts at my house, I got the three beak seal of approval. The girls were quite impressed with my taste in farm wear (or perhaps it was the handful of meal worms I tossed on the ground at my feet)!

Good grief! Can't believe I'm just now finding this - over a year later :) Awesome!! Don't ya love the boots?! Sure wish it would rain so I would have an excuse to wear mine again.. well, and for a hundred other reasons.. it needs to rain.
