The allure of catnip
In my experience, some cats absolutely, positively go nuts over catnip and some cats could care less. According to Wikipedia, about two-thirds of the feline population is susceptible to the effects of catnip. Otis, the Love Sponge, most definitely falls into that thumbs-up category. Luckily for him, the allure of that aromatic herb is purrfectly legal!

So cute! My Jack LOVES catnip, but Shadow doesn't let it affect her too much. I think she likes it, but she just cannot let her guard down and enjoy it!

Maggie May gets goofy after indulging in catnip. It doesn't seem to have any attraction for Mazie Grace. I haven't tried giving any to Mollie - I'll have to see how she likes it.
