Captain and George are thick as thieves. They love each other dearly, but you would never know it by listening to them play. When we moved to Colorado, we told our immediate neighbors not to be alarmed by the sound of the boys playing outdoors. If one didn't know better, one might assume there was an all-out dog fight happening in our backyard. The funny thing is that all of the noise is made by only one dog of the dogs...Captain. Our nickname for him (one of many!) is the Tasmanian Devil. Can you see why?

I think he must like how ferocious he sounds. Too funny!!
Susie, and the really funny thing is he is such a big baby!
That is so cute! All that growling and the tails were wagging the whole time. They certainly have fun together.
You already have snow, I'm so sorry :-(
You can have it, I don't want it, it's too cold for me :-)
That was a fun "bad boy" demo, with all of Captains' fierce growls...
OHMYGOSH! Captain DOES sound like a Tasmanian Devil! That is too funny. Our pups play like that too - and if I'm on the phone when they start, the person I'm talking to will almost always say, "OHMYGOSH - what IS that????" Captain has a great "voice" though - and he sounds truly ferocious.
SVB...yes, those wagging tails really give them away. Good thing we know doggy body language!
Arnetta...yep, snow already, but I love it! That bad boy demo is just a slice of what life is like with those two characters. They keep us entertained constantly!
Penny...they like to start their antics when I'm on the phone, too. It never fails! Funny thing...Captain sounds so ferocious and protective, but George is actually the guard dog. He barks anytime the doorbell rings, the mailman drives by, or someone walks down the street. He goes bezerk in the car when we drive past horses or cows. Such a goofball!
that is too funny! can you imagine what he must sound like over the fence to someone who can't see what is going on??
good backyard protection there :)
Daune...no joke! I'm sure the neighbors who don't know us think we're running a dog fighting ring or something!
