As promised, Rene sent some pictures of the framing being done on our building project. She reported that the crew were fast workers who didn't hang around drinking and chatting, which is certainly good to hear! It does appear they are quite the worker bees. In just two days, this is what they've accomplished...
The metal roof has been ordered (burnished slate) and windows should arrive this week for Neal to pick up and deliver to the site. Next, we have to decide on doors and a color to paint the siding. More updates as they develop!

How exciting! It is looking good - and you must have a good crew of workers. At the rate they are going, you'll be spending the weekends there soon.
SVB- yes, very exciting! And I do think we got a good construction crew. Hallelujah on that one!
OHMYGOSH!!! Geez, I don't come around for a few days and you go and erect a building in my absence. I can not imagine how excited you are. That's one fine building there. And it's huge! I just love it.Complete with plumbing and everything. Oh, Neal is SO going to have to drag you out of there when the weekends are over. It is just awesome.
Penny, I can't believe how quickly everything is coming together either. And, so far, no major snags in our plans. You are so right that it will become harder and harder to leave as things take shape and it becomes more like a home. You can certainly relate to that, can't you?
