The last two weeks have been a bit of blur, what with my pet-sitting for Susan and then coming down with a terrible cold in the midst of a very busy week. At one point, it was questionable if I would actually live, but I am happy to report that I am feeling MUCH better now! It's a beautiful day here in southern Colorado and I'm ready to face the world and actually savor the taste of what I'm eating. So, I'm thinking a trip to our favorite Indian restaurant might be in order? I'll be back later this weekend to post some pictures and impart some of my useless knowledge on my blog readers, but for now I'm off to enjoy life with renewed energy and intact olfactory senses.
As a side note, it seems as though Neal has now come down with some of my cold-like symptoms, but he doesn't seem to be feeling the intense misery that I was feeling. Hopefully, it won't hit him as hard. And just to make sure he doesn't pass his nasty germies - that were originally my nasty germies - back to me, I'm keeping my distance until his symptoms have passed. Good thing he's not taking it personally when I walk around with my hand or my shirt over my face and talk to him at arm's length. And, he's such a trooper that he voluntarily slept in the guest room last night. What a guy...

I'm so sorry to hear you have been under the weather. I, too, hope Neil won't get as miserable with it. The ONLY good thing about being sick is getting better! Take care of yourself.

Hey Penny, thanks for the sympathies. Unfortunately, Neal could not escape the dreaded bugs and is now in bed with what I had. Poor baby. It's amazing how crummy a cold can make you feel!
