Justina, that flower pot has been a big hit with the girls. They fight over who gets to jump in and roll around. I will obviously have to do some blocking maneuvers come spring/summer when I intend to plant something in that pot!
Hahahahah, that is so cute. She just wants a bit of privacy is all! :) Maybe come Spring time when you start planting, you may have to buy the girlies their own pots!
Haaa...look at how dark her skin is underneath her pretty yellow feathers. She's been having quite the lengthy dirt bath, hasn't she? lol I'd know that posture anywhere, too - my chickens love their dirt baths, too. Though your girl does look a little grouchy at having her private-time interrupted. Maybe you could set up a little curtain or screen for them. ha ha

She's obviously thoroughly enjoying her dirt bath! :D Glad she's in a flower pot and not a stew pot. :D

Cindy, they have their own HUGE flower box full of dirt to bathe in, but NOOOOO they prefer my flower pot! Silly chickens.
That pot was full of dirt! Now half the dirt has been scattered out by those birds!
Very cute! Looks like she is having a good time digging in there.
