We are all enjoying the warmer weather today after a few days of cold and rain. Cats and dogs are lounging about, catching sun rays.
Chickens are free-ranging in the yard.
I'm sitting at my desk, with doors and windows open, enjoying the gentle breezes and chirping birds. When all of a sudden...
I sense visitors. I turn around to find two very curious chickens making their way into the kitchen.
I get up to shoo them and Captain and George appear on the scene to escort them out.
And then they remind me, "chickens do not belong in the kitchen, mom!"
Note to self: close the kitchen door when chickens are out in the yard!

I'm lovin' how your dogs and chickens are so calm around each other. Can't imagine that happening here.
HaHa! I was wondering how long it would be before the girls came in the house.. we used to have a pair of ducks that would come in when the door opened.
Hahaha! I love it! I always tell Bernie that chickens are way more curious than cats. Those are some great pictures!
Linda, it's not all wine and roses around here! Captain seems to do fine with the chickens when we are not in sight, but he gets so jealous when we call the chickens or make any advances toward them. Today he got in trouble several times for chasing chickens!
Arnetta, next thing you know, they'll be sitting on the sofa watching t.v. with us (not)!
Penny, I think you are correct. These chickens are some kind of nosy! But they are so darned cute and have so much personality!
Ha! Chickens in the kitchen! Now this is funny. :-)
Love it! Okay, true story... our neighbor has (I think had, now) a turkey that actually comes into the house to watch TV with him. :)
Marcee...yeah, funny. You better watch out or you'll soon have goats in your kitchen! You just can't turn your back on these farm critters!
Justina..that's pretty hilarious. I'd love to see pictures of that!
Those pctures of the dogs looking at the chickens are priceless.
