My favorite canine gal and I went to Denver for the weekend. We stayed in a pet-friendly room at LaQuinta Inn and enjoyed take-out, channel-surfing, sleeping in late and long walks. We found a fabulous farmer's market at the Cherry Creek Mall where I bought fresh tomatoes and corn, and Nadia scored some free-range chicken jerky. We walked the trail along Cherry Creek and my girl delighted in all the new sights and smells and the fact that she had me all to herself....no boys allowed. When we got home, the boys sniffed her from head to tail, as if to say, "What did we miss?"
